Overview:
ChemCorp recently experienced a 10% decrease in sales revenue due to the loss of clients. If this trend continues, ChemCorp’s market share and potential customer base could gradually erode, risking the company’s ability to make dividend payments to shareholders
Objectives: For our independent analysis we focused on three key areas:
- Customer Strategy
- Market Opportunities
- Product Divestment
This approach enables us to identify chemical products that should be divested and determine which industries and products are generating low profitability.
Technologies Used:
•Data Visualization Software: Tableau was used to design and implement the dashboard..
•Data Analysis: Advanced data analysis techniques were applied to process HR data and derive meaningful patterns.
•Database Management: The dashboard was integrated with the company’s database to fetch real-time data.
•Design & Storytelling :Engaging presentation slides were created using Canva and Tableau’s story feature.
Reflection:
This project exemplified the intersection of data analytics and chemical engineering, revealing the power of data in making decisions through strategy, marketing, and product divestment analysis.
